I’m looking forward to my Mass Effect Play Arts figures arriving, but man, look at that face! On the left is the prototype, on the right is the mass produced figure.

I understand that prototype figures are generally painted to a higher standard than the ones sold in stores… but COME OOOON. These figures are hella expensive! I at least expect Commander Shepard to look like a badass and not one of the cast members of Jersey Shore.

I’m currently working on making a Mr. Destructoid figure. The mock helmet is cardboard but the finished one will be made of something more permanent. I will also be painting the body.

Republic Commando is one of my favourite games, so I had to get these guys.

Say what you will about the Clone Wars TV series, Cad Bane is cool.

Nothing beats the feeling when you complete that set of figures.

I go home tomorrow from San Jose after my month away. This is my haul. I also have the Trench Run X-Wing and TIE Fighter set that won’t fit in my bag; my girlfriend will be mailing that to me.

She’ll also be mailing my clothes as I can’t fit those in my bag either.

I saw this bad boy at Toys ‘R’ Us and almost had a heart attack.
